The show started at 20.15 h with Lee Gocher and his Sundowners. They
played some rockabilly that was good. But the audience with about 1700
people came to see Jerry Lee Lewis. So at the break at 20.50h everybody
got more nervous. At 21.10 h Kenny, BB, Robert and Buck entered the
stage and started playing their songs, really great. But when Jerry
arrived ad 21.18 h everybody got really mad. Jerry was in a great mood,
made jokes ('put no headstone on my grave, it better be a monument';
'you all want fast rock n roll songs but I have to do some slowers,
let's do help me make it through the night'). The show was really good
and if I am correct he played the following songs:
Roll Over Beethoven
Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee
You Win Again
Before The Night Is Over
No Headstone On My Grave
Trouble In Mind
Help Me Make It Through The Night
Sweet Little Sixteen
C.C. Rider
You Belong To Me
Johnny B. Goode
Why You Been Gone So Long
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On
Great Balls Of Fire
He did leave the stage with a big smile at 22.19 h, so we had about 50
minutes with Jerry. No kicking his chair, this time, but the show was
better than in Amsterdam last year. Killer thanks for still
performing!! The press was really enthousiastic about Jerry's
perfomance.

All the best from Holland and keep going on with your website
