This is a private shindig.  Jerry and Solomon Burke
will be opening the show.  Bill Clinton will be the
host.  Several other entertainers will be there, not
all singing.  Bono and Shakira will be featured.
The show will be televised by MTV and will be shown,
but not live.

Jerry and the band will be arriving and leaving before
and after his appearance and the Secret Service has
the place sewed up, so I will not be able to converse
with him on his birthday.  Phooey!

I think my seat is close enough that I will be able to
wave and hopefully he will see me.  I'm going to hold
up a sign saying "Happy 72nd Birthday, Jerry!" 

Because the show is going to be PACKED with different
people and discussions, as well as entertainment, I
guess Jerry is only going to hit the high notes...
probably GBOF and WLOS, but maybe he and Solomon will
sing something together.  I don't know.
